For December, Pascaline from Camping Sites et Paysages Au Clos de la Chaume in the Vosges shares with you her recipe for the Bredele Christmas cookies. Charlie et Elisa will help her mom Pascaline to male this cookies 😉
For these Bredele Christmas cookies, you will need the following ingredients : 250 grams of flour, 150 grams of caster sugar, 2 egg yolks, 150 grams of butter, 1 pinch of clove powder, 1/2 teaspoon of cinnamon, zest of a lemon.
First the butter will foam in the pan. Then add the sugar, the spices, the egg yolks, the flour and the lemon zest. Mix to get a smooth paste and let stand at room temperature for 1 hour. Roll out the dough to get a 4 millimeter paste. Cut into shapes with a cookie cutter. Brush the cookies with lightly beaten whites of two eggs. Place the cookies on a floured board, non buttered. Bake at 180 degree for 15 minutes.
