Claire & Frank from Camping Sites et Paysages Beauregard in Mesnois invite you to discover a delicious king cake from Franche-Comté. The cooking was made by Romane and Mathis, their kids. A great way to spend time with your family !
Start by boiling ¼ liter of milk with 100g sugar and 70g butter. Bring to a boil then remove it from heat. Add the flour (130g) into the mixture and stir vigorously. Turn on the heat again for a few moments until a smooth ball begins to form. Remove from the heat again then add three whole eggs and one egg white. To complete the mixture, add 3 tablespoons orange blossom. Evenly rolling out pie dough and getting it into the pie plate. Draw crosses on top of your dough. and brown it with the remaining egg yolk.
It’s time for the parents to open the oven. Put the cake into the over for 20 minutes at 210 ° C.
