Le churrasco au magret de canard façon Elisangela !

This march, we are taking you to Brasil ;-) This month’s receipe is done by Elisangela and Hugo from Campsite Sites et Paysages Le Moulin in Martres-Tolosane. Elisangela suggests this receipe which is part of the tradition of the Brasilian Carnivals, it is of course adapted to her area the South-West, and at such it wouldn’t be right without duck breast ;)

This receipe can be adapted to all types of meat and even some fish.

You will need for the marinade 1 kg of meat (here we use duck breast), a lime, coarse salt, pepper, 1 or 2 garlic cloves, a quarter of a bouquet of coriander and 3 large spoons of olive oil.

You will discover this receipe with her family, Elisangela will be with her two daughters Anna-Sophie and Helena :

1/ Squeeze the lime. If it is very juicy, add water
2/ Add salt and pepper to the lime juice
3/ Chop very finely the coriander and the garlic, add them to the mixture
4/ Add the olive oil
5/ Marinate the meat for approximately 10 minutes

You can trust Elisangela : this marinade will give a unique taste to your meat and it will also tenderize it !

When the marinade is finished, you can cook the meat as you wish. Ideally on a barbecue, but it is also very nice cooked on a plancha, in a frying pan or even in the oven depending on the type of meat you use.

A bit of advice : if you wish to have a tastier marinade, pour marinade regularly over the meat.
