For April, Lucile invites you to discover a pretty summer recipe with one of the wines of Domaine de L’Etang. Today the starter is a mozzarella & tomato millefeuille and its honey sauce with a glass of Rosé de Loire. A delight for spring and summer… Tested & Approved 😉
These are the ingredients for 4 people :
– 4 tomatoes
– 300g of mozzarella (but it all depends on the size of your tomatoes)
– dried basil
– 3 teaspoons of honey
– 1 tablespoon of cider vinegar
– 1 and 1/2 tablespoon of olive oil
– salt and pepper
Wash the tomatoes and cut them into slices (not too big but not too fine). Put the honey in the bowl with 2 tablespoons of water, some cider vinegar, olive oil, basil, salt and pepper. Place a slice of tomato on a plate. Salt lightly the tomato and cover it with a slice of mozzarella then with the honey sauce. Repeat the procedure with all the tomato slices. Serve chilled !
You can transform this delicious starter by cooking it 10 minutes in the oven ( 200 ° thermostat ) until the mozzarella begins to melt. Serve immediately!!
